  We went to Marlins last night. The bar and restaurant's outside deck was empty. Our group of nine sat down at one of the tables outside. The first waitress asked in an unfriendly way if we had been seated by a staff person. We said we sat ourselves. She told us she would get someone to help us. A second waitress came out and all but attacked us. She stated NO ONE was to be seated at any table even though though they were all empty. She in about as nasty as possible stated a large group had just come in and they only had two waitresses. This was a drunken bike crawl bar group. Marlins name was on their team shirts yet the waitress went on to say they new nothing about this group. Wanting to help we asked if we could get our own order of drinks and sit back down. She looked at us like we were stupid. Her response" no one is sitting out here until we deal with this mess inside". She told us to leave the deck area. We left Marlins This was on a Saturday night, in July, at dinner time, in a tourist town. With two waitresses. We have been here many times but last night was our last time ever. Marlins is within walking distance from our place. But it is easier to go the the Ark where the food is better and the staff are always really nice. It wouldn't have been half as bad if it wasn't for the rude staff.

  We always enjoy going to Marlins for dinner but do not come to hang out at the bar. The food is good and it is never too loud or busy. It is nice to sit outside on warmer days since our 22 month old can get a little loud.

  Great local spot with excellent food. Awesome atmosphere for the sports fan of any type but in particular for NFL fans on Sundays. They have tons of TVs all over the place and the DirecTV package. Stop by and enjoy!

  Came here last night around 9:30. Got cut off after 2 beers because I was with a friend who drove. I did not arrive with him, nor did I leave with him in his vehicle. I only live a few streets over so I walked to Marlins from my house. I ended up grabbing a case of beer to go before leaving because apparently if I’m even sitting with a friend who had driven separately there, I’m not allowed to have more than 2 beers. Buying the case of beer itself even seemed to sketch the bartender out even after countless attempts of me trying to show her proof that I live in the area and that I’m taking a Lyft home. The bartender also told my friend he had a shot and couldn’t serve him anymore, when he never ordered any shots whatsoever. She didn’t seem to believe him when he told her he never bought any. We were only there for an hour tops. All in all, this place is usually a decent hangout for locals, but just know that if you meet up with someone there who drove, then you can expect to get cut off after 2 drinks. :)

  Family favorite. We've been going here for 20+ years. Food is always good. Try the 9 layer dip appetizer, it's one of our favorites.
